“In need of a bit of Monday morning lock down motivation?

I was, so decided to have a chat with the legendary Aubrey Brooks, my inspiring friend who was part of a team of mercenaries who staged a coup attempt in the Seychelles in 1981.

It went wrong, he was shot, spent nine months in solitary confinement on the Pacific island and was sentenced to death before later receiving a presidential pardon. He is the author of ‘Death Row in Paradise’ and we first met in Durban in 2005, when I was Head of Comms for the Clipper Race and he was Event Manager for the South African stopover.

Here we chat about the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and not allowing fear to take over when faced with adversity and uncertainty.”
